Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in restaurant/culinary in a high-volume setting.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Food Handler Certification, if applicable.
• Knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage training.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to establish positive rapport with diverse personalities.
• Flexible schedule; evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations for smooth service.
• Item specifications, including preparation, execution, and presentation will be provided to you.
• Know and comply with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Prevent spoilage and contamination by proper sanitation while ensuring health regulations.
• Maintain a clean workstation across all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep areas and dish areas.
• Report maintenance or repairs to the Executive Chef.
• Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules as outlined in the handbook.
