Hard Rock Cafe International in Honolulu is seeking a Line Cook to support busy kitchen operations and ensure menu items are prepared to spec. You will receive and label products, maintain proper food safety practices, and keep work stations organized for efficient service.

Ideal candidates have prior Line Cook experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and a calm, focused approach in a fast-paced environment. This role contributes to a vibrant dining experience in a renowned venue.

Qualifications

• Previous Line Cook experience required.
• Standing or moving for long periods.
• General knowledge of all safety & sanitation standards.
• Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
• Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.

Responsabilités

• Making prep recipes and cooking menu products to spec.
• Receiving and ordering product.
• Labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line.
• Opening, closing & side duties - setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock.
• Practicing safety and sanitation standards.
• Reading items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System.
• Assembling orders - double checking product quality and specs.
• Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge.
• Handling re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group procedures.
