Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Line Cook to assist in food preparation and maintain a clean, safe kitchen in Montgomery, Alabama. The role requires following food handlers guidelines and obtaining a Servsafe certificate while working with prep cooks and wait staff to ensure smooth service.

The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen, and keep equipment and surfaces in top condition. Experience is preferred for this position.

• Will be responsible to obtain Food Servsafe certificate.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures.
• Able to communicate with Prep Cooks & Wait staff.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment.
• Label and date all food stored & Rotate food as needed.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a high pace and hot environment.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Report to managers when something is broken or needs repair.
• Keep a clean, stocked and tidy workspace.
