Banquet Cook:
  • PART TIME
  • 2nd shift, weekends required (Sat-Sun)
  • Starting wage: $17/hour based on experience

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items for dining room orders, cleaning, and washing dishes, following local health, department, and company standards, as well as ensuring guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
  • Report to work dressed professionally, neat, and clean
  • Greet guests warmly, ask questions, and make personal connections
  • Anticipate and meet guest needs, going beyond expectations
  • Prepare items according to recipes
  • Set up service units and maintain cleanliness
  • Service items with proper portions and presentation standards
  • Notify management of shortages
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Assist in maintaining security and safety
  • Set up, maintain, and break down prep stations
  • Requisition needed items
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Maintain logs as required
  • Store leftovers properly
  • Exhibit regular attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret information, perform arithmetic, communicate effectively
  • TIPS Certification (may be completed upon hire)
  • Work schedule varies; includes day, evening, night, holiday, and weekend shifts
Uniform and Appearance Guidelines:

Uniform: Provided shirt and name tag; black slacks and non-slip shoes are the responsibility of the employee.

Appearance: Hair must be well-groomed; facial piercings and tattoos must be approved and covered if not part of the uniform. Offensive tattoos must be concealed.
