Job summary

BOA Steakhouse Austin is seeking LINE COOKS to join our team in Austin. A Line Cook plates dishes and completes basic prep tasks, preparing and cooking at a specific station while keeping prep areas stocked and clean.

We look for candidates with 2 years of experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Flexible availability for days, nights, and weekends is required; a valid Food Handler Card is preferred at hire.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
• Familiarity with food service regulations and proper handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Have extensive knowledge of the restaurant’s offerings and beverage program.
• Follow portion sizes, recipe specs, and kitchen rules.
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items with various equipment.
• Stock and maintain adequate food levels at line stations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assist in opening/closing duties.
