Anchor Bar Niagara Falls is seeking a part-time cook to join a high-volume kitchen. You will work across multiple stations, preparing dishes with attention to flavor, temperature, and presentation. Adherence to sanitation standards is required to ensure guest safety.

The role emphasizes fast execution, consistent quality, and collaboration with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff in a busy Niagara Falls setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or culinary diploma required.
• One to five years of minimum previous experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to the hotel guests.
• Works in the designated station as set by Executive Chef.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Able to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
• Have general knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups & sauces, preparing entrees, and vegetable preparation.
