Job summary

Brooklyn Brewery, a 650-capacity multi-floor restaurant/bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is seeking a reliable Line Cook who takes pride in consistency and works well as part of a team. We anticipate a fast, scratch-made menu and value your contribution to a thriving dining culture.

You will set up and break down stations, cook to recipe standards, communicate with the expo and line, track product levels, label and FIFO rotate stock, and keep the kitchen clean while following NYC health and

Qualifications

• 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knife skills and control of temps, seasoning, and timing.
• Ability to execute dishes quickly and consistently during a rush.
• Flexible schedule across Mon-Sun; able to stand long shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down stations before and after service.
• Cook and plate dishes to recipe standards during service.
• Cross-train on other stations and assist in kitchen as needed.
• Communicate with expo and line to keep tickets moving.
• Label, date, and rotate product using FIFO.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health standards.
• Keep station clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Follow NYC health and sanitation standards.
