Job summary

King's Fish House is seeking a line cook to help execute tickets with consistency, timeliness and quality control. You will train in a line cook position (Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Fry) and be tested on recipes, procedures and quality components.

Once hired, you will contribute to a guest-focused service environment, follow all company standards, and perform opening, ongoing, and closing side-work duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• 1 year experience as a restaurant cook.
• Food handlers Card.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing English with Guests, management and co-workers.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and menu items.
• Ability to comprehend food orders.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Cook for scheduled meal period.
• Follow supervisor’s instruction.
• Alert Chef or Sous Chef to any deficiencies of food items.
• Notify management of shift activities.
