The Elms Hotel & Spa, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality in Excelsior Springs, MO, is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will assist the Chef with production and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquet and dining rooms while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking procedures, minimizing waste, and collaborating with the culinary leadership team to create menus that reflect seasonal availability.

Formación

• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Chef in production and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquet, dining room and fine dining.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment and ensure proper storage of items.
• Prepare ingredients, chop vegetables, cut meat, and use knives and kitchen equipment.
• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry) and minimize food waste through cross utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team and contribute to menu creation reflecting seasonal availability.
