Job summary

Andahwod Continuing Care Community in Michigan is seeking a cook for 1st shift to support meal preparation and service in our Elder Service programs. You will work with the cook to ensure nutritious menus, maintain sanitation, and help with special functions and record-keeping.

The role requires at least one year of kitchen cooking experience and the ability to pass a background check to meet eligibility. Weekends and holidays are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Must be able to pass background check to meet employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain sanitation and health standards in the kitchen.
• Assist with daily cleaning and proper storage of food.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA/ privacy guidelines where applicable.
• Maintain records of food production and supplies.
