Job summary

Sunstream Hotels & Resorts LLC is seeking a kitchen prep worker responsible for preparing meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and standard recipes across the resort's outlets.

Must meet Florida health and safety regulations, hold a current state food handlers certificate, and maintain flexibility to work days, evenings, holidays and weekends. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English.

• Adequate manual dexterity to operate equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must comply with Florida state safety and health regulations and maintain a current state food handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables) according to standardized recipes.
• Use broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment as required.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in all preparation and cooking areas.

Responsible for preparing a variety of foods (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items), using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and an variety of other kitchen equipment according to company standardized recipes. Responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations of FL state, maintaining current state food handlers certificate.Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk to hear and taste or smell.Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 100% of assigned shift.Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment and engage in lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.Must be able to work in hot, damp environmentMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.Flexible schedule is required including days, evenings (NO late nights required), holidays and weekends as needed.
