Job summary

Old Chicago Restaurants is hiring line cooks, prep cooks and pizza cooks in Salina, KS. The roles involve preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our scratch-made menu, following recipes and maintaining high quality.

We emphasize safety, teamwork and clear communication with managers and teammates. Both part-time and full-time hours are offered with a competitive pay rate, flexible scheduling to fit school and life, and opportunities for advancement along with vacation pay and staff

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to operate kitchen equipment.
• Previous kitchen/culinary experience preferred but not required.
• Familiar with kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, ovens, broiler and pizza oven.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes on the menu.
• Create dishes from scratch in line with recipes and brand standards.
• Adhere to recipe procedures and uphold food safety and sanitation policies.
• Communicate clearly with Managers and Team Members to ensure quality service.
