Santa Fe Cattle Company is hiring a Line Cook to prepare high-quality dishes according to our recipes in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.

You will set up stations, monitor temps, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards while delivering bold flavors and consistent plating.

Experience in a busy restaurant and a passion for teamwork are valued, along with clear communication with fellow cooks and management to keep service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety standards.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with others.
• Finger dexterity and knife-handling skills.
• Basic math skills for recipes and portioning.
• Prior line or prep cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station.
• Ensure all food is cooked and served at the proper temperature and quality level.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with other cooks, kitchen staff, and management.
• Assist teammates as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Monitor and restock products and supplies throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness in prep areas, coolers, and storage spaces.
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties as assigned by management.
• Support a culture of teamwork, hospitality, and integrity in all actions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a manager.
