Job summary

The Original Arcadia Tavern is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, coordinate food preparation, and ensure dishes meet high standards.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, using multiple cooking techniques, maintaining menu knowledge, and upholding food safety. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a strong focus on teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper storage and hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock your assigned station before each shift.
• Utilize grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling, and baking techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, portions, and presentation standards.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a clean kitchen environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service operations.
• Inspect food for quality and freshness and address discrepancies.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and replenishment needs.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
