Job summary

Denco Family, Inc. is seeking a Cook for the Denny's in Whittier, CA to prepare and present food to order according to brand standards and timing guidelines. You will follow prep procedures, maintain proper temperatures, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the line.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
• Must have sufficient English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and respect diversity.
• Must have dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks, and presents food to order following established brand standards, guidelines, and recipe specifications.
• Follows proper prep procedures and rotates perishable stock.
• Maintains proper food temperatures in accordance with brand standards and regulations.
• Cleans and maintains ranges, ovens, and related equipment.
• Provides prompt and courteous service to guests.
