Job summary

Denco Family, Inc, doing business as Denny's Tulare, seeks a Cook to prepare and plate meals to brand standards at the Tulare, CA location. You will report to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager and follow safety, food handling, and timing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must ensure foods are prepared to brand standards and recipes.
• Basic math skills for measurements and portions.
• Must pass required tests and training for the role.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work well in a team and support guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and presents food to order per brand standards and recipes.
• Follow prep charts, rotate stock and store perishable items properly.
• Maintain food temperatures per regulations and standards.
• Prepare special orders and manage shift par levels.
• Keep work areas, coolers and equipment organized and clean.
• Assist with inventory, deliveries and clean as needed.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and team members.
