Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced theater kitchen in Jacksonville, FL. You will prepare items from approved recipes, follow daily prep lists, and ensure food stays fresh and tastes great for a rapid guest flow.

Ideal candidates are energetic, friendly, and able to work both in a team and independently, with a strong focus on guest service and punctuality during shifts. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required, with a professional Cinemark appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for team members who work with alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Excellent guest service communication in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Sense of urgency in duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items using approved recipes and portion controls.
• Follows and executes prep lists daily.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products.
• Minimizes food waste and theft.
• Collaborates with server team to ensure accurate orders.
• Cleans preparation area and equipment after use.
• Opens or closes a workstation as scheduled.
• Wears Cinemark culinary attire.
• Ensures SOPs, preventive maintenance, safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas.
• Uses PPE as required.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Monitors safety issues and reports to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
