True Food Kitchen in West Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes across stations such as Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, and Grill, with experience on multiple stations a plus.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant, exceptional knife skills, and a passion for quality presentation. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, teamwork under pressure, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Exceptional knife skills and recipe execution.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
