Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items to perfection, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation for an outstanding dining experience. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain clean workspaces, and collaborate with the team for timely service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior line cook experience, knowledge of cooking methods, and ability to work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all dishes are made to order and meet presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure ingredients and supplies are available and properly stored.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Ensure proper temperatures and standards are met.
• Coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
• Communicate effectively with the team to manage kitchen workflow.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory checks and notify Kitchen Manager of low stock.
