30hop Restaurant & Bar in Merriam, KS is hiring cooks to join our back-of-house team. Our cooks prepare ingredients, set up stations, and cook menu items to established standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Dependable and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to food quality, cleanliness, and detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and food items needed for daily service.
• Set up, organize, and stock your station for each shift.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards.
• Use grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, portions, and presentation.
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift.
• Assist with prep, cleaning, stocking, and inventory responsibilities.
• Communicate with kitchen leaders and teammates during service.
• Help with line or prep responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen.
• Other duties as assigned
