Job summary

Beau-Jo in Idaho Springs, CO is seeking a part-time Line Cook to prepare food to order, maintain cleanliness and follow health code standards in a fast-paced kitchen. You will work closely with HOH and FOH staff to ensure timely, quality plates while upholding safety and sanitation requirements.

Hourly wages range from $17.00 to $19.00. The role involves stocking, following recipes, operating equipment safely, and delivering a positive guest experience in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old to be hired, 18 years old to operate mandated equipment and meet any other state qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order specifications and according to spec, quality and speed levels.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Prepare food items according to our standards of quality, consistency and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and company standards.
• Maintain adequate stocking, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day.
• Complete prep tasks as needed according to recipe, procedure, quality and speed standards.
• Operate equipment safely as determined by company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by doing everything to exceed their expectations.
• Respond to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications.
• Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating per company standards.
• Work closely and communicate with HOH & FOH staff, in a high pace environment, while doing a variety of "time restraint" tasks.
• Other functions as assigned by management.
