Job summary

Evergreen Dining LLC, operating Red Robin locations, seeks a line cook or prep cook to join the kitchen staff. You will follow recipe books to prepare meats, fish, gravies, soups, vegetables, and more while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and quality in a busy restaurant environment.

The role requires the ability to read tickets, work with teammates, and adhere to schedules. Prior restaurant experience and strong menu knowledge are preferred, with opportunities for growth and team discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
• Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
• Relies on experience and judgment to make effective decisions.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Follow a recipe book to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, gravies, soups, vegetables and other foods according to proper preparation methods.
• Cut, broil, sauté, and fry as required.
• Practice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times.
• Prepare food prep and production recipes per the current Evergreen Dining LLC recipe book.
• Unpack and organize received goods.
• Maintain pace and quality in a fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Communicate with team to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.
