Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure all dishes are cooked to the correct temperatures and meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation during ingredient preparation.
• Follow instructions from the kitchen manager or chef to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or customer preferences, ensuring each dish is prepared to perfection.
• Ensure food is plated according to the restaurant's standards and plated to create visually appealing dishes.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure dishes are delivered as requested.
• Assist in training new cooks or kitchen staff as needed.
