Job summary

Derby City Gaming Downtown, Louisville, KY, is seeking a Cook to safely prepare food items in accordance with menu specifications and standard recipes.

You will operate kitchen equipment, read and measure ingredients, and coordinate with team members to dish up each order while maintaining health and safety codes.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of food prep experience, the ability to work front and back of house, and obtaining a Racing License.

Qualifications

• Ability to work both front and back of house.
• Must be able to complete any required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare food items following menu specifications and standard recipes.

• Read and measure ingredients; communicate with team members.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment; follow health codes and hygiene guidelines.
• Assist in coordinating with staff to dish up and present items to guests.
