Job summary

El Capitan Canyon is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook menu items, ensuring clean and sanitary kitchen operations. You will support shift opening/closing, restock supplies, and maintain equipment while collaborating on specials with the Restaurant Manager.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, prior cook experience, and a commitment to food safety and presentation. Strong communication and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have food preparation and presentation knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food ordered by customers using various kitchen equipment.
• Perform shift opening and closing duties and maintain equipment.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and storage areas per Health Dept rules; report issues.
• Restock products as needed during shifts.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager on daily specials and new menu items.
• Monitor menu cycle and notify manager of shortages.
