Job summary

Maverick Washington LLC in Pasco, WA is seeking a cook with basic culinary experience to join our kitchen team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and pays $17.13 to $22.00 per hour, DOE.

You will stock, prep, and cook following recipes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety. Candidates should have high school education and at least 6 months prep or line cook experience, plus Washington Health Certification.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous prep or line cook experience (6 months).
• Valid Washington Health Certification/Food worker card.

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies, products and utensils throughout the kitchen and general cleaning of the kitchen and stock areas.
• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items as directed, in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment, and identifying unsafe practices or conditions.
