Job summary

Tavern On 3 Acquisition is looking for a skilled cook to join our kitchen. You will set up and stock stations, prepare food for service, and work with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals.

The role is full-time or part-time, on-site with hourly pay between $17.00 and $20.00. Candidates with restaurant experience and strong cooking knowledge are preferred. Day and night shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
