You will work at grill, sauté, fry, and pantry stations, collaborate with the kitchen team, and help sustain health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. This hourly role offers part-time and full-time hours, with weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food according to recipes and special diet orders.
• Ensure dishes are presented appealingly and in a timely manner.
• Work on grill, sauté, fry, and pantry stations.
• Assist with food preparation and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Monitor food portions, waste, and quality control.
• Assist in cleaning, organization, and closing of the kitchen.
• Ensure availability of supplies and substitutions in time for preparation.
• Set steam table and serve or ensure proper serving for tray line or dining room.
• Store food properly and safely, dating items.
• Report equipment repair/maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Plan production to coordinate with meal serving hours to preserve quality.
• Apportion food for serving.
• Maintain daily production records.
• Keep work area neat and clean at all times; maintain equipment.
