Job summary

Denny's is seeking a Cook to prepare and present food to order in line with our brand standards, recipes and timing. You will follow federal, state and local safety regulations and maintain proper prep procedures and temperatures.

You will read tickets and recipes, operate in a fast‑paced kitchen, assist with stock and inventory, clean and maintain ranges and equipment, and deliver prompt, courteous service to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have basic math skills (understanding units of measure).
• Must possess excellent guest service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate in English both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to order following brand standards and recipe specifications.
• Follow prep procedures, rotate stock and maintain proper temperatures according to regulations.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment and storage areas; assist with inventory as needed.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests and communicate effectively with team.
