Job summary

Moonrise Hotel is seeking a line cook to prepare menu items to the Executive Chef's standards and set up stations for daily service. You will stock the line, perform pre-service prep, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of professional culinary experience; a culinary degree is a plus. Expect shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with both hot and cold station work. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to the Executive Chef's exact specifications and set up stations for menu.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food for the line.
• Food preparation prior to service.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Reports to work on time for all shifts.
• Work the cold and hot side of the line during service.
