The Bier Haus in Coeur d'Alene, ID is seeking an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare menu items to our recipes, work multiple stations, and contribute to consistent quality and presentation during busy shifts.

We value reliability, efficiency, organization, and teamwork. The role requires a background in high-volume kitchens, adaptability to evenings and weekends, and strict adherence to food safety standards.

Competenze

• Previous professional line-cook experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work multiple stations and manage several orders simultaneously.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion specifications consistently.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Mansioni

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and maintain assigned stations before, during, and after each shift.
• Work grill, fryer, sauté, prep, and other stations as assigned.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, temperature-control, and food-storage procedures.
• Complete daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, sauces, proteins, and ingredients.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food correctly.
• Monitor product levels and communicate shortages or prep needs to management.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Follow Bier Haus policies, recipes, and safety requirements.
• Assist other kitchen team members during high-volume periods.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
