Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, plate and finish all food items per Black Bear Diner standards.
• Comply with all food safety rules including temperature checks and proper dating/ labeling.
• Stock and maintain sufficient food at line stations for smooth service.
• Portion food according to standard sizes and recipes.
• Keep a clean, sanitary work station and manage equipment properly.
• Handle, store and rotate products correctly.
• Assist in food prep during slower periods.
• Complete side work for station and shift as required.
• Close the kitchen according to the closing checklist and assist others.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
