Qualifications

• Experience in preparing, cooking, plating and finishing items according to procedures.
• Adhere to food safety: temps, dating, labeling, rotate oldest first.
• Stock line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Portion foods according to standard sizes and recipes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, plate and finish all food items per Black Bear Diner standards.
• Comply with food safety requirements (temperature checks, dating, labeling, rotation).
• Stock and maintain line station supplies for a smooth service period.
• Portion foods prior to cooking according to standard portions and recipes.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work areas and equipment.
