Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC. in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our dining team and deliver high-quality, resident-focused meals. You will work with the Director of Culinary Services to maintain a fine dining standard and ensure safe, clean kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include food preparation, kitchen sanitation, recipe execution, and assisting with special events. A High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of cooking experience are required, along with a valid

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Able to read and follow recipes and printed production guides, cleaning schedules, and logs.
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a fine dining experience.
• Work closely with Director of Culinary Services to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen and food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Responsible for opening and/or closing of the kitchen.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Ensure all food is received, stored, and prepared according to Company standards.
• Estimate daily or weekly needs of food and supplies and communicate needs to Director of Culinary Services.
• Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus.
• Document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration, and freezer.
• Prepare and ensure snacks and beverages are available to residents at all times.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
