Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a full-time Line Cook to deliver high-quality, fine dining for residents. You will work with the Director of Culinary Services to ensure residents are satisfied with menus and dietary needs.

You will maintain sanitation, assist with events, follow recipes, and engage with residents to support a smooth transition into community living. The role requires 1–3 years of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare and a state food handler

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read recipes and production guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a fine dining experience.
• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen and food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Responsible for the opening and/or closing of the kitchen.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Ensure that all food is received, stored, and prepared according to Company standards.
• Estimate daily or weekly needs of food and supplies and communicates needs.
• Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus.
• Document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration, and freezer.
• Prepare and ensure snacks and beverages are available to residents at all times.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
