Job summary

The Lytle Park Hotel is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team in Cincinnati. You will be responsible for station prep, hot food production, and delivering high-quality plates with pristine presentation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience and a willingness to work day/night and weekend shifts. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it.
• Willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily prep responsibilities and sets line for service.
• Prepare all hot food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check.
• Ensure consistency of product and quality for guests.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and report safety issues.
• Manage food costs and maintain presentation according to recipes.
• Assist Sous Chef and collaborate on requisitions and stock.
