The Belgrove, a distinguished 4-Diamond resort in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio, is hiring a Cook in West Palm Beach. You will join our Culinary team, supporting the Chef in production, fabrication, and daily kitchen operations, with opportunities to develop skills and contribute to seasonal menu concepts.

We seek 1-3 years in a professional kitchen, a valid Food handler certification or ability to obtain one, and a willingness to work day/night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler's certification or ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Energetic personality.

Responsabilités

• Develop knowledge in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Reach and recreate recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation.
• Work with a world-class culinary team to minimize waste through cross-utilization.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment and proper food storage.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
• Collaborate with chefs to meet seasonal menus and restaurant concepts.
