Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join the Kitchen Team. You will be responsible for your prep work and cook’s station, upholding our standards for presentation, quality, and timing. You’ll learn recipes and work across kitchen departments as needed.

Applicants should be team players with a strong work ethic, reading and communication skills, and the physical ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Able to use knives and food prep equipment safely.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Requires mobility to move around the kitchen and dining area.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds several times per day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Handle assigned prep work and station duties.
• Set up workstation per station diagram and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
