Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Line Cook for a full-time role at Holiday Inn Lucedale in Mississippi. You will prepare culinary items for guests and hotel clientele, ensuring high quality, timely service and a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The position requires some experience in food service and basic cooking skills; high school education or equivalent is required with culinary certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare culinary delights for guests and hotel clientele.
• Daily preparation of food items in pantry, fry stations or other kitchen areas.
• Follow production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage portions per order specs.
• Maintain proper temperatures and rotate perishables; check pars and line setup.
• Assist in controlling food cost, waste and inventory; restock as needed.
