Job summary

Wonderstate Coffee is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen and contribute to high-quality café meals. You will prepare items, maintain safety standards, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience with a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn. Shifts may include weekends; base pay starts at a minimum with tips and full benefits for regular staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous kitchen, food service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in food presentation, portioning, and preparation.
• Monitor food quality and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support daily food production to meet café demand.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and SafeServ guidelines.
• Assist with kitchen setup, breakdown, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Support inventory organization and communicate product or supply needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth café operations.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers.
• Support customers when needed while providing friendly and professional service.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
