Cornerstone Bistro Line Cook Position

Cornerstone Bistro in Wayne, PA is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in an upscale restaurant environment, looking to advance to a Jr Sous Role in the future.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a line cook in an upscale restaurant
  • Experience in Oyster Shucking
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Willingness to work all stations
  • Food Safety Certification preferred
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities:

  • Manage prep lists and communicate with team about food inventory
  • Execute menu items properly
  • Maintain cleanliness during opening and closing shifts
  • Follow health department standards
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with team communication

Our menu features high-quality ingredients inspired by California wine country, coastal New England, and the rustic charm of France and Italy, including small plates, large plates, tasting menus, cheese & charcuterie, oysters, fresh pasta, and grilled meats & seafood.
