Job summary

JDK Management Company is seeking a Line Cook to join the Perkins kitchen in Scranton. The role focuses on preparing menu items to company standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering quality meals to guests.

You will work with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely service. No experience is required, but any prior line cook experience is a plus, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Stock and prep ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations and shift readiness.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and other kitchen support tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
