Job summary

The Line Cook at The Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, NC, prepares and presents high-quality menu items for the club’s casual dining outlet, the Dornoch Grille. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in line cooking, knowledge of cooking techniques and sanitation, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards required.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines consistently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and delivered in a timely manner.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients, supplies, and equipment before service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations and club policies.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service operations.
