Job description

Located in the new expansion of Westfield Topanga, Topanga Social offers a vibrant space in Los Angeles where the Valley comes together to eat, drink, play, and shop.

Topanga Social features over 50,000 square feet of flexible space, including bars and lounges with indoor and outdoor options. It hosts a collection of diverse eateries, from celebrity chef-run outlets to casual spots, catering to all tastes with 24 food outlets.

Position

The Line Cook prepares food to ensure proper flavor and presentation, adhering to all applicable standards and regulations.

Reports To

Lead Line Cooks, Culinary Supervisors, Sous Chefs, and the Executive Chef.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare high-quality food according to standardized recipes and schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning and food temperature.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
  • Report maintenance issues or accidents promptly.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
