Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is hiring a Broil Cook to work in a fast-paced kitchen. The role focuses on high-volume steak preparation, precise temperatures, and proper seasoning, searing, and grilling of meats.

Qualifications

• High volume restaurant experience required.
• Knowledge of steak temperatures and cook levels.
• Experience in meat seasoning, searing and cooking.
• Experience in seasoning, searing and grilling meats.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and prep sheets.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook broiled steaks in a high volume environment.
• Monitor and adjust steak temperatures to requested doneness.
• Season, sear and grill meats to recipe standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and follow prep sheets.
• Demonstrate teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house.
• Support other line cooks as needed during peak times.

Pay:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour

As a Broil Cook your responsibilities would include:

• Understanding equipment and prep sheets
• Exhibiting teamwork
