Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Roanoke, VA is looking for a Broil Cook to join our people-first team. In this role, you will help prepare our legendary steaks, manage heat and timing, and work with a high-energy kitchen to deliver consistent quality. Pay is $16.00–$20.00 per hour and you’ll be paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have high-volume restaurant experience.
• Knowledge of steak temperatures and doneness.
• Experience with meat seasoning, searing, and grilling.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Familiarity with equipment and prep sheets.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Cook steaks to customers' requested temperatures.
• Season, sear, and grill meats to perfection.

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour

As a Broil Cook Your Responsibilities Would Include

• High volume restaurant experience
• Understand cooking steak temperatures
• Meat seasoning, searing, and cooking
• Meat seasoning, searing, and grilling
• Using proper safety and sanitation guidelines
• Understanding equipment and prep sheets
• Exhibiting teamwork
