Texas Roadhouse in Gurnee is hiring a Broil Cook to join our team and help deliver Legendary Food and Legendary Service. You will work in a high-volume kitchen, focusing on steak temperatures, seasoning, searing, and grilling while upholding safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume restaurant cooking.
• Ability to cook steaks to correct temperatures.
• Able to season, sear and grill meat.
• Compliant with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Demonstrates teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cook steaks to requested temperatures in a high-volume setting.
• Prepare meat with proper seasoning, searing and grilling.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work with prep sheets and ensure equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with team to maintain service flow.

Pay

$15.00 - $22.00 per hour

As a Broil Cook Your Responsibilities Would Include

• High volume restaurant experience
• Understand cooking steak temperatures
• Meat seasoning, searing, and cooking
• Meat seasoning, searing, and grilling
• Using proper safety and sanitation guidelines
• Understanding equipment and prep sheets
• Exhibiting teamwork
