Job summary

Third Eye Brewing Company is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is the heartbeat of our operation, executing every dish with precision, consistency, and pride while maintaining a spotless station and adhering to recipes and presentation standards.

This role requires focus, energy, and teamwork in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience in high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team.
• Attention to recipe adherence and portion accuracy.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
• English literacy required; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all menu items accurately according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain your station in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition.
• Communicate clearly with fellow line cooks, the expeditor, and management to ensure synchronized ticket times and seamless service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols at all times.
• Assist with prep work including cutting, portioning, marinating, and organizing mise en place.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, communicating any concerns to the General Manager.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and properly storing food deliveries in accordance with FIFO standards.
• Contribute to opening and closing duties including station setup, breakdown, and end of shift cleaning.
• Adapt quickly to menu changes, specials, and high volume periods with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Support the kitchen team during special events, seasonal releases, and large party service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure a successful shift.
