Emmy Squared Pizza in Charleston, SC is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly, preparing and cooking menu items with consistency and attention to detail across stations including grill, sauté, breakfast, and pizza toppings.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience; scratch‑kitchen, breakfast, or pizza experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portions, and quality standards.
• Work a variety of kitchen stations, including grill, sauté, salad, pizza topping, breakfast, prep, and more.
• Complete daily prep and keep your station stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Make sure every plate is accurate, consistent, and presented as intended.
• Set up, maintain, and break down your workstation before, during, and after service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, allergen, temperature control, and proper food handling procedures.
• Label, date, rotate, store, and handle food while minimizing waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and care for tools and equipment.
• Communicate with the kitchen team and support other stations when needed.
• Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to management.
• Assist with back‑of‑house tasks, including prep and dish, as needed.
• Stay focused, organized, and ready to move during high‑volume service.
