Job summary

FHE Health is seeking a Line Cook to join our food services team at our Deerfield Beach, FL facility. The candidate will follow recipes, assist nursing staff with daily admissions-related food service tasks, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety during all shifts.

Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, portion control, kitchen sanitation, and serving meals for clients. Requirements include a 2-year line cook experience and CPR/CPI certifications or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Experience with food safety practices and serving/catering.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification.
• CDL/driver license not required unless specified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day food service operations.
• Prepare and portion menu items according to recipes.
• Prepare ingredients for daily offerings.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen conditions and clean dishes/workspace.
• Serve food and assist clients as needed.
• Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen areas.
